Referrals come through either the Family Court (Ministry of Justice), Child, Youth and Family, Permanent placement support service and private contacts can be negotiated or handovers between parents. This is a children's service where the safety and the best interests of the child/children are paramount at all times The focus of this service is on child safety and a Child's right to have quality time with a parent/parents they do not live with. Contacts are usually held in the community in areas that are child friendly. this allows for the time to be as natural and normal as possible. |
