• Are you over 17 years old?
• Are you non-judgmental, warm, respectful, patient and understanding?
• Do you have good common sense, understanding and flexibility?
• Can you be a positive role model in someone else’s life?
• Hold a social services, health or education qualification or have two years working or volunteering with children or families?
  
• Can you maintain confidentiality?
• Are you available to attend Induction Training?
• A commitment to attend on going training and development as a requirement for the role?
• Be willing to undertake Police Vetting and Child, assessment interviews and on-going re-approvals?
• Hold a clean drivers licence?
  

         Your maturity, health and life experience will all be considered.

What will be involved?

• Completing an application form
• Robust Interview process
• Three Referees 
• Police Vetting check: Historical convictions will not necessarily disqualify you; however we will need information of what occurred, how long ago and how your life has changed since.  Serious convictions relating to Sexual, Violence and Class A Drugs offences will not be considered.
• Induction Training and on-going development.
• Support and Supervision
